Terms of Use
Last updated November 1, 2026
The short version. Squapp helps you choose iPhone apps. Our picks are our honest opinion and are never paid for; sponsored spots are always labeled.
We check facts like prices carefully, but apps change, so check the App Store before you buy. The apps themselves are made and sold by others, not by us. Be fair: no spam, no fake reviews, no scraping or attacking the site.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [company name and address] ("Squapp", "we", "us") about using the Squapp website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal data.
2. What Squapp is
Squapp gives information and opinions to help you choose iPhone apps: search answers, reviews, comparisons, guides and facts such as price, ads and offline use. It's for general information only and isn't professional, financial, medical or legal advice. Decide for yourself whether an app is right for you.
3. Accuracy
We check facts against the App Store and developers' own sites, and show when they were checked. But prices, features and terms change, and some answers are produced automatically from App Store listings. We can't promise everything is complete, current or error-free. The App Store listing at the moment you download or pay is what counts. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we'll fix it.
4. Apps and other sites
The apps we describe are made, sold and supported by their developers and distributed by Apple. We don't sell them and aren't a party to your purchase, subscription or use of them. Their terms and privacy policies apply. Links to other sites are for convenience; we aren't responsible for their content or practices.
5. Honest picks and sponsored spots
Our picks and search answers are chosen only by how well an app fits. They are never for sale. App makers can pay for clearly labeled "Sponsored" placements, such as an Apps of the week spot. Paying never changes our reviews, facts or picks.
6. Your reviews
When you post a review, you agree that:
- it's your own honest experience of the app, and you aren't paid by, working for, or competing with its developer;
- it doesn't include anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, misleading, or someone else's private information or copyrighted work;
- you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to show, edit for length or clarity, translate and share it on the Service and in our promotion of it, with your first name.
We read reviews before they appear and may decline, edit or remove any review at our discretion.
7. App makers
If you submit or claim an app, book a sponsored spot or join a plan, you confirm that you're its developer or authorised by them, that what you tell us is true, and that you have the rights to the name, icon and materials you send. You give us a licence to use them to list and promote the app on the Service. We decide what to list, may refuse or remove any listing or placement, and may check ownership before acting. Paid plans and spots will have their own price and terms, shown before you pay. Until checkout opens, joining a waitlist doesn't commit you or us to anything.
8. Fair use
Please don't:
- scrape, copy or harvest the Service or its data by automated means, or use it to train AI models, without our written permission;
- send automated or bulk requests, or try to get around our rate limits;
- try to break into, probe, overload or disrupt the Service, its admin area or its servers;
- post spam, fake or paid-for reviews, or pretend to be someone else;
- use the Service for anything unlawful.
We may block access or remove content that breaks these rules.
9. Our content
The Service's design, text, reviews we write, data and the Squapp name and mascot belong to us or our licensors. You may read and share links to it for personal use. App names, icons and screenshots belong to their owners and are shown to identify the apps.
10. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, or about the apps it describes.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by apps or sites made by others, including money spent on an app or subscription. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
12. Changes and ending
We may change or stop the Service, or update these terms. If we make a significant change we'll update the date at the top and, where it matters, tell you on the site. Using the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [the State of Israel], and disputes go to [the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel], unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
